Un grueso de trabajadores mineros pertenecientes a la empresa minera Austria Duvaz el día de hoy (miércoles) iniciaron una huelga indefinida interrumpiendo sus labores realizando piquetes e impidiendo el pase de vehículos en la carretera central.
En el comunicado que nos hicieron llegar, la Central Autónoma de Trabajadores del Perú Federación Nacional de Trabajadores de la Empresa especializadas de Contratistas de la Actividad minera y Metalúrgica del Perú y los trabajadores mineros de la región Junín que laboran para la sociedad minera Austria Duvaz, señalan que vienen recibiendo abusos extremos por parte de las transnacionales Chinalco, Argentum y otros, “han indicado que este año se termina las relaciones con sociedad minera Duvaz, por lo que más de 700 trabajadores serán despedidos y automáticamente se eliminaría el sindicato” señalaron.
Por esta consideración y otros, en reunión han acordado realizar una huelga indefinida desde el 13 de noviembre y de no ser escuchados emprenderán una marcha el sacrificio a la ciudad de Lima, subrayaron en la misiva.
Tras el anuncio de la paralización, un fuerte contingente policial resguarda las instalaciones de la minera; entre tantos pasajeros tienen que caminar largos tramos para poder abordar otros vehículos y llegar a su destino.

For this consideration and others, in meeting they have agreed to carry out an indefinite strike since November 13 and if they are not heard they will undertake a march to the city of Lima, they stressed in the letter.
After the announcement of the stoppage, a strong police contingent protects the mining facilities; among so many passengers they have to walk long stretches to be able to board other vehicles and reach their destination.
