La Federación Peruana de Fútbol ha llegado a un acuerdo con la empresa Genius Sports, por el que ésta recogerá y distribuirá información y resultados del fútbol profesional peruano.
En base a lo acordado, la compañía de tecnología y datos estadísticos de deportes Genius Sports Group recopilará información sobre competiciones y torneos de fútbol organizados por la FPF a través del sistema Soccer LiveStats, para luego difundirla y comercializarla internacionalmente.
Este hito tiene especial relevancia para el negocio de las apuestas deportivas, pues el procesamiento de datos y estadísticas es uno de los principales recursos de las casas de apuestas. Gracias al convenio, los operadores de apuestas podrán ahora disponer de información en tiempo real de la Liga 1, lo que será clave para expandir su negocio y atraer clientela.
